Today we wanted to share a little inside scoop of what life is like for us as members of the LDS church. We plan to get really honest and open about some of the things we’ve struggled with over the years and also what we’ve gained by being members of this church. I understand that not all of you are LDS but perhaps you’re just curious about what life REALLY looks as members of a church that once practiced polygamy.
Warning, this episode might stir up a bit of controversy, which as members of this church we are quite used to. Our intensions are in no may geared to bashing the church or our fellow members, but again, we plan to get really honest. Talk about some of the changes the church has made recently, and how we feel about the future of the mormon church.

This was seriously so awesome because as a Christian, non LdS, I so admire your honesty and your husband’s honesty in this episode. As an outsider, I completely agree with your points as to why it may be offputting to people of different faiths. I think Mormons have great family dedication and are amazing citizens, but the shell seems hard to crack and it sometimes even feels like unless you are also Mormon, there is no friendship beyond basic hello and pleasantries. If your duty is to mission, it should be especially to outsiders, and it seems to me and in my experience that Mormons have kept it very close to the chest and did not open up to me as a Christian. Keep doing what you are doing! I love your blog posts and YouTube videos and this podcast was my first and I loved it, gave me a real chance to get to know you.
