Grief is an emotion I’m learning to sit with these days. Grieving the loss of certain beliefs I’ve clung to my whole life, and grieving the loss of a pet.
Sometimes when we feel an intense emotion like grief it almost feels like you’re wearing a shocking device. It hurts so bad you become desperate to relieve the pain. But I’ve found that, relaxing, allowing, and breathing can be the best antidote to painful situations.
