FAB Friday~ Jewelry Giveaway!!!

I’m so excited to tell you about this fashionable jewelry I love so much!!! I own a few of these Jewel Kade Charmz and Chainz and they are definitely my most favorite jewelry to wear. My name is Kathy Andrews- I started my Jewel Kade business last September. Jewel Kade is a new direct sales company out of Utah. Janet Kinkade is the designer of this unique, vintage style charmware. She is a mother of 5, that has been in fashion and jewelry designing for many years. She made a photo charm of her 5 children and everyone noticed her work. She made the decision to perfect that design and produce unique charmware during the summer of 2008. In July of 2010, Jewel Kade went National. There are only 600 Stylists in the entire country.

I am so proud to be one of those fortunate stylists. I was awestruck when I noticed someone wearing this line, and made the decision that day to get involved. I have never looked back. This charmware is so fun to wear. There is not a day that goes by, that people don’t compliment my jewelry. The jewelry makes you feel so pretty! What I love about it- is that you can wear it with jeans, work casual, business/professional and even formal. It is so versatile.

The charms are all hand crafted, made out of pewter that encases cut, beveled glass. Many pieces have German glass glitter- a very high quality coarse glitter. The artwork is applied to canvas. The front of the charm is always different from the back- so it is like wearing 2 different pieces. The chains are a mixed metal, silver and gold, and also, there are georgous pearls (white, chocolate and champagne colors) to choose from. The chains and charms are all interchangeable- as each chain has a claw to attach the charm- so you mix and match everyday. Layering is “the look”- mix silver and gold, with pearls and chains etc. It is so incredibly fun! It is truly like wearing a piece of art. And what could be more personal than a photo charm of your kids, or your new baby, or your grandchildren, or your wedding day, or your anniversary—the list goes on!

My business is primarily home parties, on-line ordering, and vendor/expos. You can do a business part-time (as I do, I have a full time nurse job) or full time—you decide! It requires no education, previous experience or prior knowledge.

Joining the Jewel Kade team is an incredible “timing” opportunity- as there are so few people that even know about it. This is a grass roots business, and I am certain, Jewel Kade will be a “household” name in a few years. So much potential also- especially, because, at this point, Janet has only focused on chains and charms- there are lots of ideas on the horizon, including more bracelets, earrings, and other accessories.

Jewel Kade is a perfect option in this down economy- sales are wonderful- you would never know there was a recession!! You can start your business with as little as $400 and most reps make that initial cost after 2-3 parties. The business is very simple- I carry my collection in my car everywhere I go!

I am looking to grow my team and have reps in every state. I can coach on the phone, and I am willing to travel.

FAB Friday~ Natty Sue Designs

I recently had her design me a double sided business card. I was absolutely thrilled with the way they turned out. Weight Loss & Jewelry ~ FAB Friday Giveaway!

Today I’d like to introduce you to my friend Tezsia Mills the founder and designer of TEZ~MI jewelry. I’ve known Tezsia for about 3 years now. It’s funny because we met on myspace through mutual friends, and have become good friends since. We’ve hung out together, had playdates and have really enjoyed getting to know each other. I just love Tezsia, she is such an inspiration to me. She’s going to share with you her recent results on her 30 day Isagenix program. She had a baby not too long ago and wanted to do a cleanse to jump start her goal of getting the baby weight off. Along with sharing her results she has also offered to do a giveaway of her amazing hand crafted jewelry.

At the begining of the 30 day program I weighed 159 lbs. I currently weight 145 :0) I have lost a TON of inches and my butt shrunk.. my upper thighs .. I once again have had amazing results I went from a size 30 MEK jeans down to a size 28 right now thanks to the butt, thighs and waist. My tummy is toning.. I started this when urban was 6 months old and people can’t believe I have an 8 mo old child (just turned 8 mo)

I am a happy Isagenix user and its amazing… helped me feel like “me” again so soon after a baby! (ps im still doing the shakes ect.. I have about 5 lbs left to go, but I reached my personal goal!!! now I just need to tone!)

On the cleanse days I kept myself busy and packed my bottles of plain waters with me and in a cooler kept my premade cleanse bottles cold. It is easier I have found if you keep yourself busy it makes the time fly. On day 1 of the cleanse it went pretty well but towards the end of the day I just wanted to go to bed, but by day 2 and I would say about at about noon I was full of energy. I had read a lot of things having to do with toxins in the body and after getting my epidural I really didn’t think those things “stayed in my body” especially because I could feel my toes and everything nor did I think that what I ate was bad for me. I have found after doing cleanses it almost feels like my body breaths better. Its a weird analogy to think of but its almost like when you have a bad cold and you can’t breath and when you finally clear it up you feel better and function better. This is an all over function better, clarity.

What I am doing now since I have lost basically all of the weight and that was within the 30 day program. I still do the shakes in the morning its a fast breakfast. I eat a Salad or a mixure of fruit and veggies for lunch and a very simple protein dinner. I am a girl who LOVES food. I mean I gained 60 lbs with my pregnancies. I LOVE food! So I don’t starve myself nor will I eat cardboard and napkins.. I just use lemon juice on my salads now instead of heavy ranch or I’ll pick apples and grapes over potato chips most of the time :0)

Worlds Sexiest 30 Year Old!

This weekend we are celebrating my husbands 30th birthday! I’m so excited because I have a thing for older men and always wanted to make out with a 30 year old. Yah baby, all my dreams are about to come true 🙂
So today I’m featuring my wonderful husband, we’re not going to call it FAB Friday though 🙂 It’s a little too feminine for my strong, sports lovin, manly man.
I have so many things to say about this guy I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, the story of how we met is coming soon. We’re celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary the end of this month and I plan to share the interesting, yet amazing story of how we ended up together.

I want to start out by sharing a little something that he wrote recently. I stole this from his weekly newsletter he sends out to all the top leaders in our company. I really liked it because he shares part of his bucket list, also mentioning some things he hoped to accomplish before he hit 30. He is such an inspiration to me, you’ll see what I mean.

Got Dreams? Better put them in Writing!

Did you know that the single act of writing your goals down increases the chances of achieving them by 1100%? Amazing, isn’t it! You can increase your chances of reaching your goals by 11 times just by writing them down.

I remember fondly a day when my dad took out a red marker and wrote on my hand the number “50” It was August then and he said, I want you to be at 50 cycles (higher ranking in our company) by Christmas, for some reason he likes to say “by Christmas.” 🙂 Anyways, I nodded, didn’t really need to say anything, I knew it would take an incredible commitment to pull that off. Would you believe that by Christmas that year Crystal and I had broken 100 cycles a week!

When I first got involved in Isagenix I remember Dad always instructing people to write down their goals in RED. I actually still have the pad where I wrote them down from years ago. It has become quite special to me.

Here are some of the goals I wrote down in no particular order and whether or not they have been fulfilled since:

-Have the Ability to Retire by the age of 30 – Fulfilled, I turn 30 this weekend

-Meet my dream girl and get married – Fulfilled!

-Have all the time in the world for my children – Fullfilled!

-Hit a Hole In One – Not yet Fulfilled

-Invent Something – I have a couple things in mind, top secret 🙂

-Write a book – Not Yet

-Max out our position in Isagenix – Fulfilled

-Find out what people’s dreams are – getting better at this all the time

-Build a big Garage with my office above it – Fulfilled

-Read Scriptures Everyday – Not Yet Fulfilled

-Make 100’s of millions of dollars – Not Yet Fulfilled 🙂

-Start a Charity for Single Mom’s – not yet

– Serve a Christian Mission with Crystal – Not Yet

Anyways, those are just a few of them, but you can see that some of my Big Aspirations HAVE been Fulfilled and Many of the Small ones that I’m not mentioning have been. It works. I have no doubt that ALL of my goals and dreams will come to fruition! By the Way, Have I mentioned how Grateful I am for Isagenix in my life?

Isn’t he amazing! I feel so lucky to be married to such a person. One of the things that attracted me the most to him in the beginning, was his obvious passion to better himself and achieve HUGE goals. I LOVE people who dream big, and he is one person who truly believes that he CAN accomplish what ever the heck he wants! I’ve seen him come so far in the last 6 years.
He is also the BEST dad ever! These little kids have him wrapped around their little fingers:) He spends so much quality time with them, never tires of playing with them. In fact, if he didn’t have to work, I guarantee he’d spend every second with them. He’s such a family man, I never doubt that we are THE most important thing to him.

Now don’t be alarmed, these are Sean’s hairy feet, and he doesn’t normally wear nail polish 🙂 Like I said, these kids have got him wrapped around their finger. He’ll do anything for them, even allowing Lily to paint his toe nails.

FAB Friday

I just wanted to refresh everyone’s memory on FAB Friday and what it’s all about. I hope to get this meme going a little, and want to explain a little more of what it’s all about. Every Friday I’ve been featuring someone who’s inspired me in some way, but I want you to know that the whole idea here is to feature a person, living or not, movie, tv show, book, place, blog, friend, family member, product, quote, ect, that INSPIRES you! Here is the button you can grab to add to your post if you’d like to play along. And don’t forget to link up your blog posts here at the bottom. I will be sure and visit each and everyone of you!!!!

So to mix things up a bit, I would like to feature one of my FAVORITE and most inspiring books ever!!! Standing For Something by Gordon B. Hinckley. This book was the first book I read when I began my mission preparation. Every word from this book spoke to me in a way I can’t even describe. It seemed to be just what I needed at the time. I have not read the book again since, but as I was thinking about a book that most inspires me, this is the one that came to mind. So I searched through my small library of books and found it on the shelf, still good as new. I opened it up and began skimming through, trying to remember the lines that most stood out to me at the time. It’s funny how books are. It seems that when you let some time pass, it becomes a whole new book with so much more inspiration you never noticed before. I would like to share with you a part of this book that really stood out to me NOW, in my current stage of life, a mom, craving education and inspiration more than ever.

“Reduced to its simplest definition, education is the training of the mind and the body. Education is the great conversion process under which abstract knowledge becomes useful and productive activity. It is something that need never stop. No matter how old we become, we can acquire knowledge and use it. We can gather wisdom and profit from it. We can grow and progress and improve and, in the process, strengthen the lives of those within our circle of influence. We can enrich our lives dramatically through the miracle of reading and exposure to the arts. The older I grow, the more I enjoy the words of thoughtful writers, ancient and modern. I savor that which they have learned and processed and recorded for others to read.”

FAB Fridays

I’ve decided to start up a new project, and hope you will all join me in this endeavor. When I first started this blog, I said I wanted to talk about people, books, and shows that inspire me. So far I have featured a few people, and have also been featured a couple times, which to be honest, COMPLETELY made my day 🙂 Thanks to Melody at 6 Feet Over , and Bea at The Busy Mom Blueprint.

I really enjoy spreading the love and supporting my friends and fellow bloggers. So, I want to make this a weekly project. Every Friday I will feature someone new that has inspired me in some way or another. I love people who are positive, creative, ambitious, and believe in supporting others. We as women, LOVE to help and to encourage. It’s in our nature to nurture 🙂 It’s what gives us that sense of purpose and fulfillment in life.

I would love it if you all took part in this project, and featured someone new each Friday as well. What goes around, comes around, I truly believe that. Let’s embrace one another’s gifts and talents, and look at it as an opportunity to learn and to be inspired.

One of my favorite quotes is one from Gordon B. Hinkley

This was the quote I put on my missionary plaque, and it has always been something I TRY to follow.

Okay, I came up with a new name for our meme! By the way, I actually had to google the word meme, because I had NO clue what it meant.

Here is the definition: The term Internet meme is a phrase used to describe a catchphrase or concept that spreads quickly from person to person via the Internet.

Anyway, I appreciate all your feedback yesterday and have decided that, in order to avoid attracting dirty old men to this site, I would refrain from using the phrase “triple F”. Don’t want to disappoint anyone in search for women with (in Myda’s terms) “big honkers”. Haha, I was laughing so hard though, and thought perhaps I SHOULD keep it, but no, probably better to stick to a more classy name like, F.A.B. FRIDAYS. This stands for, Featuring Ambitious Bombshells. What do you think?
